The Kingdom of Morocco moves forward in its relations with the State of Israel following the steps of Western imperialism, especially the North American one. It does so with the endorsement of other Arab regimes that betrayed the Saharan and Palestinian causes. The self-determination of the peoples is part of the struggle for a socialist exit.

At the end of 2020 Rabat and Tel Aviv normalized diplomatic relations in the framework of the Abraham Accords. With the recognition of the Zionist State of Israel they strengthened ties in trade, tourism and other areas. In June, Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked visited Rabat to sign more agreements and a few days ago the authorities of Mohamed VI announced the creation of entities to watch over the Jewish community in Moroccan territory and abroad.
Arms agreements
The aforementioned ties are complementary to the main agreement revolving around the area of defense and permanent cooperation in security, cyber-security, intelligence and arms sales, signed in November 2021. In this framework, for the first time, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Aviv Kohavi, visited Morocco, saying: “The objective is to learn from each other, share knowledge and expand cooperation”. What is certain is that they are sealing the military alliance between Rabat and Tel Aviv.
Drones of death
According to Hasni Abid, director of the Center for Studies and Research on the Arab and Mediterranean World (CERMAM), Kohavi’s tour will serve to “exchange information, training and probably military equipment and, above all, industrial collaboration. In other words, manufacturing. The Moroccans want a drone factory.” This is because in recent years the Kingdom of Morocco has become one of the best customers of Israeli war materiel, particularly the drones used against the Polisario Front and the Saharawi people.
Regional interests synchronized with imperialism
The rearmament of the Alaouite dynasty is to sustain the invasion of Western Sahara and the autonomy plan, which is also supported by Spanish President Pedro Sanchez; as opposed to the just claim for self-determination. At the same time, it is a sign of hostility towards the Algerian regime, with which diplomatic relations are severed. Morocco’s local and regional objectives synchronize with the global ambitions of the State of Israel and US imperialism.
Arab traitors to the Saharawi and Palestinian cause
This year the Israeli Foreign Minister, now Prime Minister, Yair Lapid, met in the Negev desert with representatives of the United States, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Morocco, pushing for a new regional alliance against Iran. Israeli Army officers took part in the large-scale African Lion 2022 military maneuvers, which the US and Morocco organize every year. The Arab states that agree with Israel and the US are traitors to the causes for freedom of the Saharawi and Palestinian peoples, who continue to count on the solidarity of the oppressed peoples of the world.
For freedom, self-determination and socialism We condemn the visit of Aviv Kohavi to Morocco, the interference of Israel and Western imperialism in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and in the entire world. We reject the agreements and the joint warlike action. We are for the mobilization in unity of the African and Arab peoples against imperialism, bourgeois governments, dictators and monarchies. They are the powerful who plunder territories, exploit workers for capitalist profits and oppress peoples to rule. We support the right of Sahrawis and Palestinians to recover their occupied territories. These demands are inextricably linked to the strategic struggle for the only social model that can freely unite peoples, with full social and democratic rights: the socialist system.
