We, the undersigned, strongly denounce the criminal action of the Israeli army, which on October 1 attacked and hijacked the boats of the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF), preventing them from reaching Gaza with humanitarian aid. Among the captured activists is our comrade Cele Fierro, an Argentine deputy of the MST in the FIT-U and a militant of the ISL, along with hundreds of activists from dozens of countries.

We demand the immediate and unconditional release of all kidnapped activists and an end to the repression against the flotilla. We reaffirm that international solidarity is not a crime: the real crime is the genocidal blockade imposed by Israel on the Palestinian people, which prevents food, medicine, and basic supplies from entering Gaza.

We demand that all governments of the world act immediately and break their complicit silence in the face of Zionism. We demand:
-The immediate release of all activists of the Global Sumud Flotilla;
-The opening of a permanent humanitarian corridor so that international aid can reach Gaza;
-The end of the genocidal blockade imposed by Israel on the Palestinian people;
-An immediate ceasefire and the defense of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.

We call on all social, political, trade union, student, and human rights organizations to urgently speak out, organize street mobilizations, and increase international pressure until the activists are released and humanitarian aid reaches Gaza.
