The Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) has already entered the area considered “high risk” that is 150 miles away from Gaza, and in which Israel carries out the naval blockade.

In the early morning of October 1, our comrade Cele Fierro, from the “Adara”, has sent us videos about the situation that we will post as long as we are communicated with the Flotilla. You can see them in the links at the bottom of this article, as well as how to follow the Flotilla live.

October 1st sunrise on the “Adara”. Security protocol activated.

Tension will remain, although the alerts go on and off by the minute according to the circumstances.

Late on Tuesday the 30th, Israeli public radio Kan reported that Israel is preparing to intercept the flotilla, take control of the ships with special units, round up the activists on Israeli Navy ships, interrogate them and then deport them from the port of Ashdod. Israel believes that it will not be able to tow all the ships, so some could be sunk after being boarded.

In the Gaza Freedom Flotilla of June 2025 there was only one boat, the “Madleen”, with 12 activists and journalists on board. There are about 40 boats and hundreds of activists participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla. This fact makes the preparation of any Zionist intervention operation on the flotilla more difficult and can make it longer and riskier.

Meanwhile, the cynical Israeli Foreign Minister, Gideon Saar, accused the members of the flotilla of provoking and not helping to end the offensive!

The governments of Italy and Spain are also showing that their “protection” of the flotilla is limited only to statements.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has ordered the Italian “Alpino“ to leave the escort of the flotilla at midnight on Wednesday to avoid a ”diplomatic incident.” Before leaving, the frigate offered to welcome on the military vessel any activist who wanted to leave the mission.

The GSF responded with a statement: “…this is not protection, it is sabotage” to try to demoralize the activists. They have not been sucessful since activists continue to try to break the blockade on humanitarian aid.

The Spanish government of Pedro Sánchez has announced that the Furor ship, which departed from Cartagena to escort the flotilla, will not cross the exclusion zone imposed by Israel and will only carry out rescue tasks if necessary.

We reaffirm the call to double the pressure on the European Union and governments around the world, demanding that they actively make themselves available to guarantee the of the flotilla moves freely through the Mediterranean to Gaza and its return, that they protect the ships and all their activists.

Let’s follow the events minute by minute. Let’s keep on high alert and, if the flotilla is attackedd, immediately take to the streets. Let’s organize communication networks, events, marches and blockades in front of embassies and consulates. Let’s prepare an immediate response to any aggression. “If they attack the Flotilla, they attack all of us”.
