Chronicles of Palestine 19: A genocide of over 10,000 killed in one month

The Zionist genocide of the Palestinian people exceeded 10,000 deaths. More than 4,000 of them are children. The invasion of Gaza continues to encounter difficulties in the face of the resistance and intensifies the bombing of Gaza City. The murder of three children and their grandmother by an Israeli missile in Lebanon intensifies Hezbollah’s involvement in the resistance. The US Secretary of State and the Director of the CIA began their tours of meetings in the Middle East. Workers in the United Kingdom and Barcelona joined the boycott of Israel that Belgian transport unions had launched.

Sunday, November 5

Israel claims to have cut the Gaza Strip in two and surrounded Gaza City. Heavy Israeli shelling fell throughout the enclave overnight and communications were cut off for the third time. Al Jazeera Correspondent: “Israeli attacks of unprecedented magnitude target Gaza City.”

Israeli airstrikes struck two refugee camps in central Gaza, killing at least 53 people and wounding dozens. The World Health Organization has expressed concern after at least 14 people were injured in an Israeli attack that took place near Al-Quds hospital in Gaza City. The Israeli army began using large “bunker buster” bombs that penetrate to a depth of 30 meters before exploding. Its destructive force simulates an earthquake of 3.6 on the Richter scale.

Intense Israeli bombardment in Gaza

Violent clashes between resistance men and occupation forces are reported northwest of Gaza City.

An Israeli airstrike has killed three children and their grandmother who were traveling in a car in southern Lebanon. The occupation also attacked two ambulances on the outskirts of Tayr Harfa in southern Lebanon, injuring 4 paramedics. Hezbollah responded by firing on the Israeli city of Kiryat Shmona. It also shot down an Israeli Hermez 450 aircraft carrying missiles with a total weight of up to 150 kilograms.

Several resistance missiles struck Israel as the “iron dome” defense system was hacked. The resistance killed Captain Yair Ido Netanyahu, nephew of the Israeli PM, in Gaza. He was the commander of the sniper unit invading the Gaza Strip and considered the most dangerous sniper in the Israeli army.

According to Spanish newspaper El Mundo, Israel depends on European mercenaries who charge 3,900 euros per week to support the occupation army in its ground invasion of Gaza.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken began his tour in the occupied West Bank, where he met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas before traveling to Iraq to meet with the country’s prime minister. Blinken will meet with his Turkish counterpart on Monday. The head of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), William Burns, arrived in Israel to meet with officials on the first stop of a trip to several countries, the New York Times reported.

Israeli minister Amihai Eliyahu was suspended after saying there was a possibility that a nuclear bomb could be used against Gaza.

Monday, November 6

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres declared that Gaza is “becoming a graveyard for children” as the total death toll in the besieged enclave exceeds 10,000, more than 4,000 of them minors.

Four Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank town of Tulkarem, in what local officials describe as “targeted killings.” During the operation, a 14-year-old boy passing by on the road was injured after being struck by the soldiers’ bullets.

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees says five of its workers have been killed in attacks in several areas of Gaza over the past 24 hours.

The genocidal army also continues its raids in the West Bank. The 2,150 detainees were joined by the arrest of Ahed Tamimi, 22 years old, icon of the Palestinian cause for “suspicions of incitement to violence and terrorist activities” in Nabi Saleh, West Bank. Ahed was 11 years old when a video went viral in which she threatened an Israeli soldier who had come to her house, three years later she was seen with other women trying to free her little brother from an Israeli soldier who was suffocating him and was also imprisoned for eight months for slapping two Israeli soldiers who showed up at her house after her cousin was shot during a demonstration.

 

Israeli media: Journalist Ephraim Mordechai was arrested after claiming to have seen bodies of Israeli soldiers piled up by the dozens inside a Tel Aviv hospital, where the army does not release the bodies to their families.

British workers blocked the factory of Instro Precision Ltd, a subsidiary of Elbit Systems, one of the main weapons suppliers to the State of Israel. Barcelona dockworkers decided to impede the activity of ships that transport weapons to Palestine, joining a similar measure that the Belgian transport unions had already taken.

South Africa announced the withdrawal of all its diplomats from Israel in protest of the war against Gaza, joining a growing list that includes Honduras, Colombia, Chile, Turkey, Bahrain, Jordan and Bolivia.
