The government of the oligarchy once again deployed the military and police forces against the mobilized people, disguising its objective with the lie of opening a “humanitarian corridor”. The leadership of the 20 provinces of La Paz and leaders of the Bartolina Sisa Federation denounced that the operation used firearms and the Medical Center of Calamarca reported the death of comrade Víctor Cruz caused by gunfire in Vilaque -Calamarca.
In El Alto, Caracolllo, Challapata, Achica Arriba, among other blockade points, confrontations were recorded with arrests and injuries from bullets and pellets fired in the face and legs. Rural workers recorded photos and videos of gunshot shells left by the military on the ground.
The government declared to the international press that everything is normal in the country, that the protest is of a few vandals from the West, that there are no deaths, cruelly mocking today’s killings and the four community activists killed last week. The Minister of Public Works, Zamora, cousin of Rodrigo Paz, victimized himself, arguing that the “humanitarian” operation was ambushed by the local population.
But the reality is that the criminal military offensive was defeated by the powerful mobilization. The courageous response of the masses has been to recover all the blockade points and to massify the struggle. At the time of writing this statement there are about 60 blockade points in the country.
This government of lies, a puppet of imperialism, should be thrown out as one of the worst governments in history. After calling workers and peasants vandals, shooting at them and denying their deaths, it proclaims itself “humanitarian” and calls for dialogue. There is nothing more nefarious than Rodrigo Paz.
The Hercules plane that Milei sent with repressive artifacts to attack the mobilized people, is also used by the government to transport chicken and beef for the Santa Cruz capitalists, while the administration is charging the cost of air transport at a premium to the pockets of the people of La Paz, where chicken is sold at up to 155 bs and beef from 110 bs per kl, exorbitant and unaffordable prices for the impoverished people. A situation that journalism has uncovered in recent days, exposing the true face of the government.
There is nothing to dialogue about! Against the military onslaught, we must strengthen self-defense! Military and police rank and file: unite with your people and turn your weapons against the real enemy, the government, its commanders and generals! If you don’t, you also will be overrun by the revolution.
Generalize self-sufficiency! The caracollo with the miners, peasant blockades and districts of El Alto have coordinated the transportation of medicine, oxygen, ambulances, food. This is the way! Tationransport and supply is not under the control of Paz, but of the mobilized people, it is a practical form of self-government.
Down with Paz! No to electoral traps! The struggle controls the highways and streets, we can control supply and develop self-defense. We must fight for all power to pass into the hands of the workers’, peasants’ and popular alliance that has been forged, we cannot let this historic opportunity slip away. The COB and the organizations in struggle must take power!
